Our Mission
About Nepal Health Policy Lab
We are a health policy research initiative dedicated to making rigorous evidence accessible and actionable for Nepal's health policymakers, practitioners, and public.
An initiative of the Policy Evidence and Research Lab (PERL)
We focus exclusively on health. By going deep rather than broad, we aim to become the definitive resource for health policy evidence in Nepal. Our core work is translation: synthesising, contextualising, and making accessible the thousands of high-quality health economics studies published every year that never reach Nepali policymakers.
Open Access
All our evidence summaries and tools are freely available. Knowledge should not be behind paywalls.
Rigorous & Transparent
Every paper is critically reviewed. Our methods and data are open for scrutiny.
Nepal-Centred
Global research is valuable only when contextualised. We always ask: what does this mean for Nepal?
